Being emotional
Date: 8th Aug 2024
Dear Kapish,
There has been a small change in you over the past week or so. It started with the drawing class which happened last Wednesday. After Namma dropped you, we got a call from your drawing sir that you were crying ans wanted to go home
Mumma went down and trued to talk to you, but you insisted that someone was rude to you and returned home. However, we talked and explained again to you that it is ok to get some feedback and after a while took you back to the drawing class and were happy to see you complete the class without any further discomfort
However, a similar thing happened yesterday when I dropped you to school and you suddenly started to cry at the school gate saying that you did not want to go in. Actually, the previous night, you did tell us that your Ma'am may have told you to write a bit faster as you hadn't completed your dictation. We are not sure what exactly was the trigger - but you became emotional today as well just as you were about to enter school.
You see Babu, we feel this is just a phase and shall pass soon. I do remember something similar happened last year as well and you were emotional for a week and then returned to normalcy in some time - I think it is all a part of growing up!
Any feedback you get from your teachers or from us is only to help you become a better person as you grow. So embrace it and, as Mumma explained it to you, just say - "I will try my best!"
And yes - take your time. We are in no hurry to see you grow :)
Cheers,
Dadoo
