Nature Walk
Date: 9th Nov 2024
Dear Kapish,
We got an email a few days back that Kinfolk had tied up with a firm called Green-Panthers and organized a Nature Walk in Cubbon Park
We were anyways contemplating an idea to take you to Cubbon Park in the heart of our beautiful city, but the idea of a Nature Walk with a guided tour was too good to miss. So, Mumma signed us up and we were at the park as requested at 9am. A few more of your classmates and friends from Kinfolk joined us and at around 9:15am, we started the journey of exploring nature in it's most raw form
Initially, they assembled all the children and asked you what the trees and animals need to survive and you proudly answered, "Oxygen, Water and Health" -- Truly amazing answer!
You then went on to explore different trees, mushrooms, insects and many other natural things and it was heartening to see you take a real active interest in all of these and not hesistate to touch or feel them wherever possible
There was also a parellel task given to you to search and collect some things from the ground and store them and then eventually decorate a nice butterfly using the stuff you collected from nature
The overall experience was amazing, but this picture which was captured by Mumma will always have a special place in my heart!
I sincerely hope to provide you a very good experience of nature in general with knowledge about plants and animal life. In todays' world, it is of utmost importance that we take good care of our planet and I hope you keep that in mind and work towards it
Cheers,
Dadoo
